NUM: numeral

Definition

A numeral is a word, that expresses a number and a relation to the number, such as quantity, sequence, frequency or fraction. Georgian numerals can be expressed as words (e.g. ერთი ‘one’ etc.), Arabic numerals (e.g. 1 ‘one’ etc.), Roman numerals (e.g. I ‘one’ etc.), acrophonic numerals (e.g. ა ‘one’ etc.). The numerals can be of five types: cardinal (NumType=Card), ordinal (NumType=Ord), fractional (NumType=Frac) and multiple (NumType=Mult).
