Poss
: possessive
Values: | Yes |
In Classical Armenian, possessive is a lexical feature of personal and reflexive pronominal adjectives (determiners). Although enclitic determiners =ս/=s, =դ/=d, =ն/=n can express possession, they are tagged according to their more common deictic contrastive values with the Deixis feature and not the possessive. Unlike Modern Eastern Armenian, genitive case forms like Պարսից/Parsicʻ “of Persis” are not tagged by the possessive feature.
