Adjectives are words that typically modify nouns and specify their properties or attributes. They may also function as predicates, as in

Tatar adjectives have an inflected form for a comparative Degree
, but not for a superlative,
which is specified by the adverb иң.
- тизрәк “faster”
- иң тиз “fastest”
Degree
is specified using adverbs daha and en.
